Kinney Karate Where to Train
Recreation Center Classes
Kinney Karate offers low-cost classes at four St. Petersburg Recreation Centers. Your first class is free — just show up at any location. No uniform needed to start; wear loose-fitting pants and a t-shirt.
Tuition is paid monthly through the recreation center and can be cancelled at any time. Missed classes can be made up — we always work with you to make sure you get your training.
Tuition & Registration
To enroll, just show up at the location you'd like to attend — no need to wait for the beginning of the month. Recreation Center classes are administered through the City of St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation. Tuition is $30/month for one class per week or $60/month for two classes per week — paid in person at the Recreation Center.
Tuition is never paid on this website. Advanced dojo billing is handled through Balance Martial Arts.

The Kinney Karate dojo location is a 4000 sq. ft. facility featuring a beautiful workout space for classes, a comfortable lounge for hanging out or watching class, a quiet study room for homework, and a high-end gaming space featuring beautiful gaming tables.
